When considering the position of the titles for my thriller I analysed other films such as SE7EN. with SE7EN I found them to be fairly bold and "in your face" the use of this may direct the audiences attention away from the narrative on screen.
Next I looked at The King's Speech, the tiles for this are to one side and do not take away much attention from the narrative.
